Hi, I am Marcia, my husband is Joe. We have 8 children with only 4 still left at home.

We are on a journey to start a homestead style, learning farm, for veterans who want the opportunity to figure out how to “just get away and live on their own” . This is a huge undertaking and has already and will continue, to have many curves, bumps and fun! So, we thought it would be fun to share our journey with others as well as lots of helpful information and ideas.

Joe has worked construction in one fashion or another,most of his adult life. I have primarily been a stay at home, homeschooling mom but have also been bookkeeper for my parents wholesale business, I’m a “crazy couponer” and am always seeking ways to be more frugal WITHOUT going without(because seriously that’s not fun)
